Chelsea Grin drop off Blue Ridge Rock Fest after member exposed to Covid
Less than a day before their scheduled performance at Blue Ridge Rock Festival 2021, Chelsea Grin have cancelled their appearance after one of its members was purportedly exposed to Covid-19.
A statement from Chelsea Grin reads as follows:
"We regret to inform you that we will be cancelling our upcoming performance at Blue Ridge Rock Festival. A member of the band was recently exposed to someone who has tested positive for Covid. While each of us feels healthy, they will be isolating to ensure absolute safety. We apologize sincerely to anyone who was looking forward to our set.
"Despite this setback, Chelsea Grin are full committed to appearing on all upcoming tours, including an unannounced U.S. run this year, so long as conditions permit. We are eager to perform for you all again, especially as we swiftly approach the completely of our next album. We hope you're staying healthy and happy, and that you enjoy the amazing festival."
Notably, Chelsea Grin frontman Tom Barber recently revealed that he wouldn't perform in any country or state that requires performers to be vaccinated.
