Trivium frontman Matt Heafy tests positive for COVID-19 despite vaccination

Trivium frontman Matt Heafy has revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 this week, despite the fact that he's vaccinated. Fortunately, said vaccination appears to have mitigated most of the illness's effects.
Heafy issued the following update via Instagram:
"Welp. Went from a non-vaccinated person to Ashley (vaccinated) to the kids (unvaccinated) to me (vaccinated). Thankfully due to being vaccinated it merely feels like a tour cold; my dad however got sick without a vaccine and is now 12 weeks into a very terrible recovery with lung/ heart/ liver issues.
"I outta be good in a day or two. See y’all on stream tomorrow regardless!"

Post CommentHe probably got a variant, which explains the mere coldlike symptoms. Article really should have clarified that instead of throwing people into a panic. "OMG THE VAXX DOESNT WORK!"
They literally said the vaccine doesn't prevent testing positive for COVID if you come in contact with it... so not really sure why it's 'news' worthy.
wonder if he'll learn to play guitar while recovering
Todd Jones never would have tested positive for covid with or without the vaccine
If you went to the Ozzfest back in the 90s, then you are immune to Covid. Don't worry about it.
