2020 was a bad year for alternative rock/post-hardcore band Emarosa, and the pandemic wasn't even the predominant culprit.
Early last summer vocalist Bradley Walden was very publicly accused of sexual misconduct and Emarosa were seemingly dropped by both their record label and management firm.
Two months later Walden issued a statement in which he apologized for his behavior, but denied the most serious allegations. Meanwhile, Emarosa went silent on social media.
Yesterday, Emarosa returned to inform (see below) their fans that "new music [is] confirmed" and the band is reportedly writing their follow-up to 2019's Peach Club. Moreover, Walden appears to still be their vocalist.
We'll see how it goes.
