Iron Age guitarist Wade Allison dies

Wade Allison, guitarist of veteran Texas crossover band Iron Age, reportedly passed away yesterday (Friday, September 11). A cause of death hasn't yet been revealed. Sadly, Allison's passing comes little more than two weeks since the death of Power Trip vocalist Riley Galey, who has publicly praised Iron Age for their support and influence. As BrooklynVegan noted, several years ago Gale said this of Allison: "the way Wade Allison writes his riffs is like no other guitar player that I can name."
