ex-Varials frontman calls out band over use of racial slur

A day after Philadelphia hardcore/metal band Varials issued a shirt to benefit causes associated with Black Lives Matter, former vocalist Travis Tabron responded by asking the group if they were done using the n-word:

Subsequently asked why he waited until months after leaving the band to come forward, Tabron had this to say:

......because as a black person it is extremely disgusting to see people pretend to care by making a charity shirt when they used to literally bust out in tears laughing saying the hard R in the van???? also bc of people like you that would say it's somehow my fault????

ACTUALLY they tried to get me to sign over my 25% ownership of the company for free and as the dude who wrote virtually everything i'd be a dumbass to do that. asked for 2k, got offered 200.
