Devildriver have canceled their three-week tour of Europe, which was to commence in mid-September. Devildriver blame "unexpected circumstances, complete out of the control of the band" on the development.
A press release on the matter attempts to convey the band's remorse: "The members of Devildriver would like to stress that they hate canceling anything, and in 20 years of touring the world, they have never scrapped a tour before and are certainly not a band that wants to mess their fans or their promoters around. The band and the management would like to apologize to all their fans that had already bought tickets for the tour. Those tickets can be refunded at their original point of purchase. Devildriver promises that it will make this up to fans and promoters alike when it returns to Europe in 2020 with a show bigger and better than ever before."

Probably didn't sell more than 12 tickets per venue, so Dez put a stop to the embarrassment.

Ever get the impression that not only does this dude think Headbangers Ball is still on MTV but that they're in heavy rotation on it?
