The Final Battle (Deadwater Drowning) release posthumous EP
Defunct New Hampshire band The Final Battle have issued a three-song EP nearly 15 years after the the tracks were recorded. You can stream and/or download the songs via Bandcamp below.
Accompanying the release are the following details:
The Final Battle posted some posthumous tracks that I think folks who liked BMA releases would want to hear. Formed from the ashes of Deadwater Drowning in 2004. The remaining members (Nate Johnson, Seth Coleman, Steve Whalen) joined with a new members (Moe Watson and Mark McDonald) to create these songs as well as play some reunion shows in the Northeast. These songs were recorded in 2005 and were never released. Nate went on to sing on albums for Through The Eyes Of The Dead and Fit For An Autopsy. Seth spent a moment in The Acacia Strain. Moe played with Shai Hulud. And I think Mark played with Austrian Death Machine album. Really burly, moshy, death/hardcore. Enjoy!

Remember that one time in the 00's when deathcore was somewhat acceptable? Me neither

These fools have no idea who DD is...because guess what? Almost 95% of them weren't around in the 2000-2003 era, so unless they've heard about a band on the internetz...they're completely clueless.

this is good. i won't like listen to it again but how can you be from that era and not at least find it cool from a nostalgic point of view? it's almost been long enough that it sounds vital again
