Lamb Of God will apparently enter the studio this spring to begin tracking their new album and follow-up to 2015's VII: Sturm und Drang.
Speaking with The Metal Teddy Bear Experience (video below), guitarist Mark Morton revealed that Lamb Of God have already recorded demos for some of the new tracks and will be in the recording studio before and after their European tour dates in June and July. Here's a portion of what Morton had to say about the new album:
"We are writing too. We got a bunch of new material, a whole lotta new song ideas we're sifting through. Pretty far along in the song-writing process for the new album, not finished but pretty far along. Touring coming up, we got a start of tour with Slayer in May and then we're going to Europe in June and July and then... we'll be in the studio before that and after that, so it's cranking."
