David Gunn a.k.a. the Bando Commando slash Rambo a.k.a. the Pyrex Pirate here. My gun's too big and my pants low, but that's the life you have to live in Flint, MI, which is CRAZY. I don't know if you know this or not, but that's where KING is from, and it's CRAZY. Gonna hit some squats while reciting some rare Proust essays, then it's time to prowl the streets to catch a body.

Vein = Emmure LITE.

anonymous 12/24/2018 7:29:46 PM

Is it true Logan Paul plays bass for Parkway Drive?

anonymous 12/24/2018 7:43:59 PM

Why not Albuquerque,NM ? :( and Thats not Logan Paul lol

anonymous 12/25/2018 9:31:21 AM

Vein went from legit to wack even faster than Code Orange did, which is hard to do

anonymous 12/25/2018 4:34:45 PM

Pete Davidson on vocals. I don't see what all the hype is about them

anonymous 12/25/2018 7:20:54 PM

good band. crushing it on top 2018 lists. sh*t like zao, converge, shai hulud, disembodied, ptw, alol, martyr ad, himsa, most precious blood, woj, etc was wildly mediocre once aild, idt, tas, htd, byd, et, kse, pd, bt, abr, unearth, log, shadows fall started putting forth the mid 00s gems

anonymous 12/26/2018 6:05:04 AM

My penis has a large vein with your mothers lipstick stain on it.

anonymous 12/26/2018 3:36:28 PM

the dick vein in a snickers candy bar really makes it

anonymous 12/27/2018 9:44:36 AM

the most hyped band since code orange

anonymous 12/27/2018 9:55:47 AM

They're hyped because hardcore has no real headliners anymore. Name me ONE true headliner (to me a band who could draw at least 300 paid people on their name alone for $10) from Maine to Florida who formed after the '90s. Turnstile isn't hardcore anymore, so don't say them. I don't think even Terror alone for $10 could draw 300 paid ME to FL.

anonymous 12/27/2018 9:58:13 AM

Note: Terror isn't an East Coast hardcore band although three of the five members are from the EC or near it (Scott and Chris are from Buffalo and Portland, ME respectively, Jordan is from Toronto), I mentioned them as a band who formed after the '90s. Again the EC doesn't have a true headlining hardcore band. And by at least 300 paid I mean NYC, Boston, Philly, Baltimore, DC, or Richmond.

anonymous 12/27/2018 10:00:33 AM

If your hardcore band can't draw even 150 paid people on its own (just your band for $10) in any of those five cities, you are not a true headliner. I don't think there's any ECHC band out there who formed after the '90s who could draw even 100 paid if it was just them for $10.

anonymous 12/27/2018 11:39:46 AM

vein is nu metalcore. rip off norma jean and mudvayne combined

anonymous 12/27/2018 1:11:50 PM

Hatebreed, if you want to count them? What do Code Orange draw? Harm's Way (although I guess they're midwest)?

anonymous 12/27/2018 1:25:27 PM

hatebreed counts but he said after 90s. if you count vein then you can count turnstile, code orange, kublai khan, harms way and knocked loose. but it's not strictly hardcore including vein. these bands are what woe is me or abandon all ships was to 2010-11. mallcore trash

anonymous 12/27/2018 1:27:53 PM

^ 100 percent if you go back to then it's what these nerds were listening to until they discovered disembodied and buried alive tees on merch swap

anonymous 12/27/2018 1:34:55 PM

Vein is easily the most overhyped band of the year. That style sucked 15-20 years ago and it still sucks now.

anonymous 12/27/2018 1:56:12 PM

norma jean memphis will be laid to waste did not suck. that's a top ten. song video breakdowns metalcore moves

anonymous 12/27/2018 2:39:19 PM

vein doesn't deserve any of the hype they get. They play the Gary 5 times a year. LOL Either go over seas or take a break.

anonymous 12/27/2018 6:19:40 PM

Blaming it all on windbreakers

anonymous 12/27/2018 6:51:32 PM

Hardcore legitimately hasn't been good since 2004. Sucks kids nowadays won't ever experience that same energy and sense of community. RIP in Peace.

anonymous 12/27/2018 7:12:58 PM

Vein is pretty tight but the over-hype is going to drain the shit out of any legitimacy they have. Code Orange will outlast them because they play big stinky hefty breakdowns. Facts.

anonymous 12/27/2018 7:53:31 PM

Code Orange already faded out, bucko. When was the last time you heard about them? They were the poster children for over-hype.

anonymous 12/27/2018 8:42:39 PM

code orange is trash. record couldn't even chart. bought on festivals and grammy nods by a label are stoked. another norma jean rip off

anonymous 12/27/2018 9:16:09 PM

Again, Turnstile is not a hardcore band anymore. Code Orange, Harm's Way, and Knocked Loose are neither hardcore nor from the East Coast (Pittsburgh, Chicago & Louisville respectively.) None of the three could play alone for $10 in NYC and draw 300 paid. WTF is Kublai Khan?

anonymous 12/27/2018 9:16:26 PM

anonymous 12/27/2018 9:20:24 PM

Name me an East Coast hardcore band from Maine to Florida (EC = no more than I'll say 200 miles from the Atlantic Ocean) who formed after the '90s and can draw even 150 paid people for $10 on their own in NYC, Boston, Philly, Baltimore, DC, or Richmond (ECHC epicenters.)

anonymous 12/28/2018 6:37:43 AM

^Down To Nothing could probably do it IN RICHMOND, but not sure about anywhere else.

anonymous 12/28/2018 7:25:31 AM

Krimewatch lol

anonymous 12/28/2018 9:37:36 AM

vein is a not a hardcore band dip sh*t.

anonymous 12/28/2018 9:42:04 AM

KL, CO and HW could all draw 300 in the aforementioned cities. they are not hardcore and neither is vein so they are in the same category. downswing and jesus piece could draw 150 plus in those cities.

anonymous 12/28/2018 7:23:45 PM

have you seen jesus piece's upcoming tour dates and locations? they couldn't sell out a vfw if their lives depended on it. also what category if not hardcore would you call any of the bands mentioned, o wise group of 20 year old wizards?

anonymous 12/28/2018 10:32:24 PM

vein, co, hw, turnstile, jesus piece, knocked loose, judiciary, etc = mallcore. trend riding. all of it. but you could call it metalcore or nu metalcore. vein rips off disembodied and norma jean riffs same as code orange

anonymous 12/29/2018 9:33:16 AM

Uses the word mallcore as a serious way to describe a band. Being 15 years old is cool

anonymous 12/29/2018 12:38:41 PM

LOL at saying anyone is stealing "Norma Jean riffs". If you were around during the height of Norma Jean's popularity you'd remember EVERYONE relentlessly giving them shit for stealing riffs from Botch and Coalesce. If you don't remember this then you're young and you still have your whole life ahead of you so stay in school for the love of god.

anonymous 12/29/2018 12:44:55 PM

uses the word hardcore as a serious way to describe vein. being 15 years old is cool.

anonymous 12/29/2018 12:46:47 PM

notice you didn't say anything about disembodied moron. i was around and bless the martyr holds. vein and code orange weren't listening to coalesce or botch. they were listening to norma jean. see your self out

Down To Nothing could probably do it IN RICHMOND, but not sure about anywhere else.>> Down To Nothing, no one else, for $10 couldn't draw 300 paid people or even half that in their hometown where 95% of their shows happen cuz they are jack shit outside of it, always have and will be.

anonymous 12/30/2018 4:32:21 AM

KL, CO and HW could all draw 300 in the aforementioned cities. they are not hardcore and neither is vein so they are in the same category. downswing and jesus piece could draw 150 plus in those cities.> Knocked Loose or Harm's Way, no one else, for $10 could not draw 300 paid alone. The biggest venue either band could headline in NYC is St.Vitus Bar and that place is 300 capacity. Either would need a strong undercard to draw 300 paid.

anonymous 12/30/2018 4:34:35 AM

Code Orange could draw 300 paid alone for $10 but they are not hardcore like Knocked Loose, Harm's Way, Vein, Turnstile, and Power Trip aren't hardcore. Hardcore 2019 has zero real headlining bands who formed after the '90s. Take away hardcore bands from before 2000 and 100% of fests don't exist.

anonymous 12/30/2018 7:34:11 AM

What even is hardcore anymore

anonymous 12/31/2018 6:40:26 PM

Youre all sad as fck. This will be a banger!

anonymous 1/1/2019 7:54:25 PM

What even is hardcore anymore Not Vein. And Not Code Orange, Knocked Loose, Harm's Way etc. But they will still draw. Hardcore is dead

anonymous 1/1/2019 7:56:53 PM

Honestly EXPIRE fcked up because they were one of the last standing hardcore bands the last few years that actually had a draw

anonymous 1/2/2019 4:35:20 PM

Bill from Terrified Eyes (formerly Skully Trophy) here. We book Vein so we can abuse young girls in our van. My last band broke up because our vocalist fcked an underage chick. His whale girlfriend covered it up. XXX.

anonymous 1/4/2019 6:46:33 AM

Vein is only hype because they have minorities in the band. Their music is horrible.

anonymous 1/5/2019 8:40:09 AM

hardcore isn't dead, it just sucks now.

SN00PY 1/23/2019 4:35:26 AM

Killswitch has sucked since the 2000's. The goddamn negroid only got his position in it due to affirmative action. GTFO and stop ruining Trump's chances of getting re-elected #FourMoreYears
