Memphis May Fire album fails to chart on Billboard 200

Four years after debuting in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, Memphis May Fire has failed to land on said chart with the release of their new album, Broken, which sold roughly 2,700 copies in its first week of release in the United States. This is the first Memphis May Fire album to not appear on the Billboard 200 since the band's 2009 full-length debut, Sleepwalking. The group's previous album, This Light I Hold (2016), sold 11,000 copies in its debut week and bowed at No. 42 on the Billboard 200. Its predecessor, 2014's Unconditional, remains the band's most successful album to date, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 after selling 27,000 copies in its first week. Memphis May Fire's 2012 release, Challenger, peaked at No. 16 on the aforementioned chart, selling 18,000 copies in its debut week. The band first appeared on the Billboard 200 in 2011 with The Hollow, which peaked at No. 130 on the chart.
