British metalcore band Architects released their eighth studio album, Holy Hell, earlier this month and sales results are in. The album landed at No. 89 on the Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 7,300 in the United States. The showing represents the group's highest charting and highest selling debut to date.
Meanwhile, Holy Hell debuted at No. 25 on the Top Album Sales chart, No. 17 on the Digital Albums chart, No. 14 on the Vinyl Albums chart, and No. 3 on the Independent Albums chart. Those are all career-best debuts for the band.
Architects' previous album, 2016's All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us, sold 5,500 in its first week and bowed at No. 109 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Going back further, the band's 2014 release, Lost Forever // Lost Together, debuted at No. 125 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 2,900. This was Architects' first album to appear on the Billboard 200.12 Comments
