How did Clutch get lumped in with stanky numetal dino droppings?

anonymous 6/19/2018 7:59:09 AM

because they are essentially a numetal band?? nowhere near as good as As I Lay Dying. this tour is tier 3 at best

Jesus Christ. Touring with Sevendust?!

anonymous 6/19/2018 9:04:18 AM

This isn't the first time they've toured together. Funny enough, they were both on the bill for Limp Bizkit's first headling tour, Ladies Night In Cambodia...I think Clutch had just released the Elephant Riders and Sevendust, Home.

Two nights @ 1200 capacity Irving Plaza...so they think they'll draw least 1800 (75% capacity) for the show to be worthwhile to the club HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. They're lucky if they draw 1500 for both nights. 'Bet one or both shows is moved to Gramercy Theater or cancelled due to lack of ticket sales. These bands are not big anymore.

AILD would outdraw these pricks

^^ Clearly you have not been following Clutch over the past couple of years. They are at their highest level of popularity in their careers and have been one of the top-billed bands on most of this year's major festivals. They usually pull large crowds in a lot of markets. Bands and their management just don't decide to book two nights at a venue on a whim - they clearly have data and previous sales records that show two nights is worthwhile. Idiot.

anonymous 6/20/2018 8:59:46 AM

^NOBODY has been following Clutch except for you dickweed, and that's because you're either in the band or friends with them.

Yo Clutch/Sevendust tour rearytics shithead if they are soooo big why didn't they book Terminal 5 (3000 capacity) for one night instead of book two nights in a 1200 room? If they sold out IP both nights that means people shut out - one show at T5 eliminates that. Cuz Bowery Presents said nah these bands were big in 1998 not 2018. Apparently desperate Mercury East Presents who books IP didn't get the memo. Like I said, 1500 tops across both nights.

anonymous 9/18/2018 7:28:20 AM

Add Limp Bizkit for a Ladies Night in Cambodia reunion and I'm there.
