Between The Buried And Me album debuts in Top 35

Automata I, the latest album from North Carolina progressive metal band Between The Buried And Me, has debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard 200 chart after selling roughly 13,500 copies in its first week of release in the United States. Meanwhile, the record landed at No. 8 on the Top Album Sales chart, No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 4 on the Hard Rock Albums chart. The band's previous album, 2015's Coma Ecliptic, bowed at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and No. 6 on the Top Album Sales chart, moving more than 18,500 units in its debut week. Going back further, The Parallax II: Future Sequence (2012) sold 17,000 copies in its first week, debuting at No. 22 on the Billboard 200. BTBAM's current streak of Top 50 debuts commenced in 2009 with the release of The Great Misdirect, which debuted at No. 36 on the Billboard 200 on the strength of 13,400 in first-week sales.
