Zach Dear (Stone, Expire) accused of sexual assault

A slew of women have apparently come forward with sexual assault allegations against Zach Dear, vocalist of Milwaukee hardcore/metal outfit Stone and guitarist of defunct hardcore punk band Expire. An extensive compilation of accusations and allegations has been posted online via tumblr here. Dear has since issued a statement in which he says that Stone will be taking a break from touring. You can read it below. There's been no word thus far regarding how these developments affect the band's new deal with Pure Noise Records or their scheduled tour with Knocked Loose, Terror, and Jesus Piece.

UPDATE: Stone is no longer on the Knocked Loose tour and has been replaced by Year of the Knife.
