Baltimore area hardcore act Turnstile has returned with a new single and music video. "Real Thing," the first new music from the band since 2016's Move Thru Me EP, is streaming today on Turnstile's YouTube channel accompanied by an official music video directed by Mortis Studio (Adult Swim, Earl Sweatshirt). "Real Thing" debuted earlier today on the Viceland TV Network and prefaces the release of Turnstile's Roadrunner Records debut LP, which is set to arrive in winter 2018.
Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates explains, "'Real Thing' is about the idea of happiness being made up in the imagination. The way you imagine perfection from your past can blind you to real beauty and life right in front of you, resulting in a circle of discontent."
