Finally some good news on here. Sick of all the old metal talk going on about dead bands like Zao and AILD. ABR is the new shit, get with the program olds.

Neck yourself unfunny gay

ABR is just as 'old' as AILD. mid 00s tier 1 metalcore. i'm cool with the zao comment but don't try and beast on Tim. you sound like a commoner

anonymous 9/29/2017 12:02:44 PM

No, by those standards AILD would be late 90s/early 00s metalcore when they sounded like Zao. Tim was in Society's Finest which was late 90s. That was his scene. August Burns Red is a clear 5-7 years younger. Their first band was August Burns Red which they started in high school. Late 00s metalcore, and actually a real band.

At least we can agree that ABR is tier 1 and still Godly unlike many of the sell outs.

anonymous 9/29/2017 12:11:15 PM

No, I don't think we agree at all

whoever liked august burns red and as I lay dying is a confused mother fcker, totally different music, totally different attitude, totally different fan base. it's like oil and water

AILD tier one masterpieces were shadows are security and an ocean between us. 2005 and 2007 right in the thick of mid 00s metalcore. ABR releases thrill seeker and messengers during same years. you are splitting hairs

anonymous 9/29/2017 12:26:06 PM

ABR first album was their masterpiece? Bro, their catalog inflects around 2010.

anonymous 9/29/2017 12:28:44 PM

i said AILD masterpieces. but while we are on the topic ABR best album far and away is messengers

tier 1 - AILD, KSE, ABR, ATR, ETID, shadows fall, parkway drive tier 2 - unearth, god forbid, trivium, norma jean, chimaira, evergreen terrace, haste the day, still remains, misery signals, the agony scene, throwdown, it dies today, beneath the sky, walls of jericho
