Converge begins recording new album

As expected, Converge entered the studio earlier this week to begin preparations for recording a new album and follow-up to 2012's All We Love We Leave Behind. Drum tracking is set to begin today at guitarist Kurt Ballou's own GodCity Studio in Salem, MA. According to drummer Ben Koller, he will be laying down drums for 18 tracks (see below). We expect the new album to be available late this summer.
