Converge set to record new album

Four months ago we learned that Massachusetts punk/metal/noise veterans Converge would enter the studio in the spring to begin recording a new record. Well, it looks like tracking is imminent as earlier today drummer Ben Koller stated via Instagram (see below) that following today's show with his band All Pigs Must Die, he would be returning home to "start tracking the new Converge album." Further details have yet to be disclosed, however, it's all but certain that the new record will be produced and engineered by guitarist Kurt Ballou at his GodCity Studio in Salem, MA.
