This Light I Hold, the fifth studio album from Memphis May Fire, sold roughly 11,000 copies in its first week of release in the United States, debuting at No. 42 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The showing is a significant decline for the band considering their previous album, 2014's Unconditional, landed at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 27,000. Additionally, Memphis May Fire's 2012 full-length, Challanger, sold 18,000 copies in its debut week and bowed at No. 16 on the Billboard 200.
