With the announcement of singer Craig Owens' new project, BXC (aka badXchannels), comes the revelation that Michigan post-hardcore/rock act Chiodos has disbanded after roughly 15 years together. In an interview with Billboard.com, coupled with a premiere of a new BXC single, Owens had this to say about the dissolution of Chiodos:
"It's done. It just couldn't stay afloat. There were just kind of, not necessarily bad vibes, but we came to the realization that we can't do it full-time. I think it just stopped becoming a passion for all of us, so we said, 'Alright, let's stop.'"
