Official press release:
Hotfoot Records welcome Long Island's Ornaments to the family.
Hailing from Long Island, NY are Ornaments, a four piece rock outfit tying together emotionally gripping narratives and dynamic meandering melodies. Drawing influence from the likes of Converge, Caspian, and Deafhaven the band marries cutting post-hardcore with post rock. Formed by Anthony Gesa (guitar/vocals) and Anthony Iorio (guitar), longtime high school friends in the winter of 2015, the band quickly became a reality with the addition of Kyle Walker (drums) and Adam Scrio on (bass/vocals).
The line-up has made significant strides since the release of their debut EP Stories To Weather and Storms To Tell in the late summer of 2015. With countless shows under their belt including a stint at SXSW, the upcoming Fest 15 in Gainesville Fl and shows with bands like Frameworks, The Saddest Landscape, Hotel Books and Gatherers.
Hotfoot will be releasing Ornaments EP titled Stories To Weather and Storms To Tell on 12 inch vinyl along with two new tracks titled "Swollen Tongue" and "Tired Eyes."
Check out a new track below titled "Swollen Tongue" (recorded live at Vudu Studios).
