Polish death metal band Decapitated has revealed that they will be taking legal action against their former label, Earache Records, over unpaid royalties. You may recall that Decapitated threatened to sue Earache last summer over various disputes. Describing the current situation, founder Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka says:
"In 1999, we signed a four-album deal with Earache Records. We have, as a band, fulfilled all the requirements of the contract. We recorded four albums, promoted them, played shows, etc. However, they haven't paid a penny in royalties since the deal ended ten years ago. For that reason, we've decided to begin legal action against the label."
To raise money for legal fees, etc., the band is selling a limited edition t-shirt. You find more information and a video from Vogg below.
