Official press release:
World-renowned drummer John Boecklin (ex-Devildriver) has announced the name of his new project, I of Tongues, and has entered Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with acclaimed producer Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse).
Boecklin states: "I've been working on this music a little over a year with guitarist Max Karon. My main focus in the beginning was to not repeat myself musically with a Devildriver part 2. To me, the band is musically and vocally more adventurous. More singing than screaming and more technical than straight forward. It feels great to put this together and come back with something that turned out so unique. Can't wait to release stuff, but in the meantime here is a teaser with some demo stuff we did before entering the studio."
More news and new tunes to following in the coming weeks.

Really need to go the with "world renowned" hyperbole, huh? Hey, if you're "world renowned," you don't need to put it a press release, now do you?
