The Distance news and notes

Connecticut's The Distance are currently undergoing yet another lineup shift. Bassist Austin Joy has left the group to return to school. Taking his place is recent arrival and second guitarist John Dobyns, who in turn has been replaced on guitar by Andrew Abramowitz, of Escapist and Drowningman notoriety. Meanwhile, the group continues to work on their new album, which has been entitled "Our Closest Enemies." Artwork for the effort is being handled by Rob Dobi (Thursday, Fall Out Boy) and the album is scheduled to hit stores on October 28th via Bridge 9 Records.
