Tony Leone, original bass player for defunct Boston, MA crust punk/grindcore outfit Disrupt has died. Leone had been battling stage IV stomach cancer and reportedly passed away on Wednesday, March 23.
Formed in 1987, Disrupt put out a large handful of records, including a full-length with Relapse Records, before disbanding in 1994.15 comments

Loved this band. 'Unrest' was a great record. Glad all the kids here are proud that they don't know dick about shit.

Damn, was just looking at their unofficial fb page run by him and he was pleading for a Disrupt reunion to happen before he passed. Bummed he didnt get his final wish. RIP.

Quite a few f*ckin clowns on here commenting stupid shit because they don't know who Tony was. First of all, he was a good friend of mine and an amazing bassist. Played a lot of styles and could handle it all. Show some f*ckin respect.
