Motorhead: Lemmy cancels show after three songs (video)
Health issues continue to plague Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister as the band was forced to end last night's (Tuesday, September 1) show in Austin, Texas after playing only three songs.
The band performed "Damage Case," "Stay Clean," and "Metropolis," before Lemmy stopped playing and said to the crowd, "I can't do it." He and his bandmates then left the stage for several minutes before Lemmy returned to say, "You are one of the best gigs in America, and I would love to play for you, but I can't, so please accept my apologies. Next time, all right?" The 69-year-old musician then slowly walked off-stage, aided by a cane.
Fan-filmed video of the incident can be seen below.
The abbreviated show comes on the heels of a similar gig in Salt Lake City, and a cancelled show in Denver.
