Suburban Scum dropped from Today's Mixtape Fest

Today's Mixtape Festival is the latest entity to distance itself from New Jersey hardcore band Suburban Scum, who were scheduled to play the fest on Sunday, August 16. Event organizers have issued this statement: If you haven't been paying attention, a member of Suburban Scum was allegedly involved in the late July beating of Crosscheck drummer Tom Alderson, who remains hospitalized. Thus far, Suburban Scum has not publicly addressed the matter.
