Carnifex announces 10th anniversary tour

Official press release: CA based death metal outfit Carnifex, will celebrate their 10 year anniversary this fall with a North American headlining tour. The massive six-week trek, also featuring Black Tongue, Lorna Shore, and The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, will launch on October 7th in Los Angeles and come to a rousing climax on November 11th in the band's hometown of San Diego. "The reality that Carnifex has been a band for ten years is still something I can't quite grasp," comments vocalist Scott Lewis. "I've felt we've always been outsiders from the start, even in the metal world. But what separates Carnifex from everyone else is all of you have joined us on the outside, keeping each other alive and stronger than ever. "This tour is our way of directly connecting with our fans, giving you the biggest headlining tour we've ever put together and personally saying thank you to each and every one of you for your die hard support. We look forward to seeing all of you and sharing this once in a lifetime experience." VIP ticket go on sale on Tuesday July, 21 at 10 am PDT / 1 pm EDT via the band's website www.carnifexmetal.com. Once in a lifetime? You mean 9 times a year you're on tour with crap and butt.

Featuring an encore of Shawnifex (yes their drummer calls himself Shawnifex) smacking that gum he's always chewing for twenty minutes.

Ears are stoked...band is irrelevant. I remember when Adam from HIL headed a coon on an F-150 in Chinquapin too. Cool story.

Seen Lorna devastate at scout bar earlier this year. Guaranteed to still the show. Remember, remember, the fifth of November! Snooches.

I never understood the appeal of the movie "My Girl." Like, I dunno man, it just wasn't that good!

Say what you want. If you're actually in the metal scene you'd know that this lineup is stacked. All of these bands have put in their dues and I for one am stoked. Btw, the Illinois show isn't at mojoes. It's at Subterranean in ChiTown
