Atriarch cancels U.S. tour

Due to the passing of Atriarch frontman Lenny Smith's mother, the band has dropped off their August U.S. tour with The Atlas Moth and Vattnet Viskar. Here's the official word:

"To all of our friends and fans of Atriarch: It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Lenny Smith's mother has passed into the next realm after a battle with cancer. "Due to the timing of this tragedy Atriarch will not be able to accompany the Atlas Moth on their U.S. tour next month. "This comes as a shock to us all as it is sudden and unexpected. We are sending our love and positive energy to Lenny, his sisters and the rest of their family."
