Elitist album set for release; new song premiered

Official press release: Los Angeles, CA's Elitist announces that they will release their self-titled, sophomore full-length on June 30. Today, the band is also premiering a new song called "Vision Red" and has launched preorders for the digital only release, both of which can be found at elitist.merchnow.com. "This is the first track on the album. It's one of the more energetic songs on the record and it just felt right starting it off with a bang!" shares vocalist Chris Balay. "We wanted to make a song that was really fun to play live to get people going! 'Vision Red' is a great example of how we have evolved in our sound but stayed true to the hard hitting roots we love so much." The new album was co-produced by Daniel Braunstein (Volumes, Elitist) and Julian Rodriguez and recorded at DB Music Studios in Woodland Hills, CA and Parallel Focus Studios in Westlake Village, CA. Standing out among the many memorable elements on the new album is Balay's wildly dynamic vocal range, which offers a perfect contrast of both guttural screams and smooth, soaring cleans, that are backed musically with dark, heavy riffs, and an overall impressive technical prowess instrumentally. Elitist track listing: 01. Vision Red 02. Sense and Security 03. Numbered 04. Idle Hands 05. Deadweight 06. Return to Sender 07. Amber 08. Lonely Giant 09. Gone 10. Creatures of Habit 11. End Game

Kind of makes you wonder how a band like this listens to their record for the first time and honestly believes they're good musicians. No guys, you're the pink carbon copy of a weak original and your band name is completely ironic.

God damn their first few albums were pretty good. This is so ass. Those vocals just made me cringe, a cough sounds more metal than that

Fancy names for Apple mac's and protools with so many plug-ins in their bedrooms while charging $3k for your album to sound like complete garbage. Just more Jews with money.
