Official press release:
Los Angeles, CA's Elitist announces that they will release their self-titled, sophomore full-length on June 30. Today, the band is also premiering a new song called "Vision Red" and has launched preorders for the digital only release, both of which can be found at elitist.merchnow.com.
"This is the first track on the album. It's one of the more energetic songs on the record and it just felt right starting it off with a bang!" shares vocalist Chris Balay. "We wanted to make a song that was really fun to play live to get people going! 'Vision Red' is a great example of how we have evolved in our sound but stayed true to the hard hitting roots we love so much."
The new album was co-produced by Daniel Braunstein (Volumes, Elitist) and Julian Rodriguez and recorded at DB Music Studios in Woodland Hills, CA and Parallel Focus Studios in Westlake Village, CA.
Standing out among the many memorable elements on the new album is Balay's wildly dynamic vocal range, which offers a perfect contrast of both guttural screams and smooth, soaring cleans, that are backed musically with dark, heavy riffs, and an overall impressive technical prowess instrumentally.
