Deftones reveal tentative release date for album

Deftones band photo Details regarding the forthcoming Deftones album continue to come into focus as Deftones frontman Chino Moreno was a guest on the Rock Show with Daniel P Carter yesterday. Moreno says that all of the music for the LP has been tracked and he's currently recording vocals:
"The record, as far as music, has been all recorded and I am currently working on the vocals. So, I've been recording from my home studio here in Oregon. Slowly but surely getting it done. It's coming out really good, it's another Deftones record... I feel like us reaching a little bit, getting more into the song structures, trying to challenge ourselves a little bit, you know what I mean? It's sounding good, I think it's gonna be a great record."
Moreno then added that they currently have a tentative release date of September 25 (truth be told, it sounds as if he says September 26, but that's a Saturday). Meanwhile, Deftones have announced a few European shows that will take place in November. 11/15 Paris, France @ Bataclan 11/18 Berlin, Germany @ Columbiahalle 11/19 Cologne, Germany @ Koln Palladium 11/21 London, UK @ The SSE Arena Wembley
