Deafheaven begins recording new album

San Francisco, California black metal/post-metal/shoegaze band Deafheaven is currently in the studio tracking material for their third full-length album. The group entered 25th Street Recording in Oakland, CA yesterday to commence recording. Additional tracking will take place at The Atomic Garden Recording Studio in East Palo Alto. A summer street date for the album is expected.
