Eric Muniz, vocalist of Southern California "hardcore/beatdown" band Blood Stands Still, was arrested last weekend for assaulting an unidentified woman. On Sunday, May 11, Muniz was jailed by Boise City Police in Boise, ID on charges of "assault-domestic violence." Muniz, age 42 of Meridian, ID, was released the next day. His mugshot can be seen below.
UPDATE: Roughly an hour after we posted this news item, Blood Stands Still announced that they are breaking up. Here is their statement:

"Due to acts of one individual we don't feel it's right to keep this band going anymore. Art, Dan and Aladdin have nothing to do with this bullshit. I can't express how disqusted we are at this individual right now. But I feel this is what we must do as a band. None of us condone beating up girls and this is beyond any of our control. Thanks to those that supported the band over the years."
