Earlier today it was announced that The Agonist frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz recently quit the band to join Arch Enemy. Naturally, The Agonist has now announced her replacement: Vicky Psarakis. Here's the official word:
"Today we announce that after three albums and countless tours we officially part ways with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. We wish Alissa all the best with Arch Enemy and her future endeavors.
"It is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for The Agonist! We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the The Agonist family. Please give a warm welcome to very talented vocalist Vicky Psarakis!
"Stay tuned for new The Agonist material coming very soon!"
