Great Commission drummer quits; goes off on band

"The reason why I quit the band, is because I was not being treated well, very poorly actually, and I was not being treated as an equal member of the band. There were numerous situations where I just wanted to fly home from tour because I was just sick of it. I won't name specific members of the band but they were very controlling, and made me and the fill in members do all the work like little minions. Other bands on every single tour saw this. I even had members from different bands we were touring with ask me if I was ok because I looked stressed or irritated. Also, I got screwed over on the new album because they tried to get me to sign a contract that in the end would give away any right to royalties or any profits from the album, leaving only the 2 leaders of the band to gain it all. So I said screw it, delete my drums off the album and get someone else to re-record it. And that was the end of it. There are so many examples of this band being contradictory and hypocritical to their spiritual/ religious beliefs, but I will save them the embarrassment. I basically realized how much of a facade this whole thing is and got over it. I want to be in a REAL band with REAL people."
