Continents guitar player Tom Weaver has suffered a concussion and fracture to his eye socket, forcing him to miss the band's upcoming tour dates. Here's what he had to say:
"So, after about 3 hours in A&E it turns out that I've fractured my eye socket in 3 places and have a concussion. I've got to remain under observation in the hospital for 2 days before they decide if I need surgery or not. Unfortunately all of this does mean that I won't be able to continue the tour.
"However, our guitar tech Rhys has kindly offered to step in and fill my shoes for the rest of the tour, so we're not cancelling any appearances, and we're definitely not slowing down.
"The guys need your support now more than ever, if you can get to a show then please, please go and hang out. I'm gonna go home and fix my broken face, Continents will continue to break faces across Europe. The show must go on."
