Sea of Treachery drops off Metal Christmas tour

Sea of Treachery has dropped off A Metal Christmas Tour. Here's their statement:
There is no easy way to say this, but about a week ago we found out that due to personal issues, Tommy wouldn't be able to join us on the Metal Christmas Tour. Since then, we attempted to work with 2 different fill-in drummers and it wasn't working out. Without a solid drummer, we have been forced to drop off the Metal Christmas Tour. It is the worst feeling on the planet, because we would much rather be on the road playing for you than sitting at home being bummed. We apologize to everyone that was excited to see us, to the promoters of the shows, to the other bands on the tour and to everyone who helped organize the tour. Please understand this was completely out of our hands and if we had it our way, we would be on our way to start our last tour of the year. In the meantime, we are going to be writing feverishly to complete the new record. Expect a couple demos to surface in the next few weeks and PLEASE check out the Metal Christmas Tour if it's coming through your town. All the bands on it are incredible and you are definitely in for a treat. Thanks for understanding and try not to say anything too harsh, because we already feel like shit about the whole thing. We love you guys and letting our friends down is punishment enough. See you in 2013.

Now this Christmas will be even less Metal and New Years will be even less heavy. Not a big surprise that SOT wouldn't wanna be on this pathetic lineup. I'm kind of hoping to see a tour lineup that is actually GOOD for a change: there literally hasn't been a decent tour posted on here in like 6 months at least.

Defonce just told them they were getting $250 a night and then sent them an itinerary with $125 a night... thatll cover 10 hour drives, right?
