Dallas Taylor's vocals SUCKED balls on their first three releases, but musically they were solid. They're only chasing safety was written with dallas and spencer copied dallas's style, but the album was more pop punk/screamo so im not a fan of it. define the great line was magnificent, lost in the sound of separation was different but still great, and disambiguation was all of their albums put into one, drop b breakdowns plus a little norma jean/deftones influence sprinkled in there.
Aaron Gillespie WILL be playing this tour. Daniel Davidson is sucking Norma Jean's dck to let him back in.
Brandon Ebel at Solid State is salivating cuz now he can issue no less than three "best of" albums for this band in the next two years and not allow the band themselves to get a red cent from any of it. Zao concurs.

I'll admit that I haven't listened to more than a couple songs off the last 2 cds but thats because what I did hear was so awful. It's too bad that these guys kept the Underoath name in the TOCS-era and destroyed the reputability of their first 3 albums which were actually pretty solid metalcore.

I was really hoping for Norma Jean, Chariot, & Maylene to support. Southern metalcore '04 tour! Letlive is on though, so it's even better.

Never heard Letlive, decided to check them out. Shit band, every song sounds the fcking same or a song that I made when I was 14 before I heard a Converge record.

i would only allow letlive on this tour if they only covered glassjaw songs, instead of just playing talentless versions of glassjaw.

It is sincerely grotesque how all of you people can sit here and judge the craft and art of these people. Underoath has been around before scene kids were even scene kids, they have triumphed and remained steady, even through tragic line-up changes. I don't think they deserve anything but credit. Giving up 10 or so years of your life for something you believe in isn't a joke, or at least I don't think it is.
...They had a dream, and they chased it. So, stop ragging on them because their music changed, who's doesn't? Stop talking shit about their fan base, especially when you aren't part of it. Leave what they've built alone, because it is perfect for those who love it; and, for those who don't, just respectfully find your own way. Wake up, wake up, and step outside your box.
