Hotfoot Records signs two bands

Official press release: Hotfoot Records is proud to welcome Detroit progressive melodic hardcore outfit Gateways and New York melodic hardcore outfit Vessels to their growing roster. On the new signings, Hotfoot's owner Jeremy Pektus had this to say, "We feel that we bring great bands to our label. Bands that we truly believe in and we couldn't be happier with the addition of these two bands," Both bands are expected to have their label debut released by the end of the year. Gateways is an emerging progressive melodic hardcore band arising from the Metro Detroit area. Formed in February of 2011, the band is strictly about setting a straight forward positive message with uplifting words and a hard-hitting, fast-paced melodic sound. They are set to release their label debut, Departures, this winter and already has a taste of what is to come on their Facebook. Albany's Vessels is a five-piece melodic hardcore outfit that delivers intense vocals and chaotic guitar riffs to create an unforgettable sound. They hope to bring this sound to their forthcoming Hotfoot Records debut that is currently being recorded. The band's brand new track, "Between The Tree's" may now be heard on their Facebook.
