Priestess cancels European tour

Montreal band Priestess has cancelled their spring tour of Europe. Although the band has yet to issue anything on the matter, organizers of Roadburn 2012 in Holland, at which Priestess was to perform, put out the following:
"We're sorry to announce that Priestess has canceled their European tour for spring 2012. This has the very regrettable result that the band will not play this years Roadburn Festival at Voivod's curated Au-delà du Réel event on Thursday, April 12th. We definitely fell bad about this and sympathize with any disappointment! We were looking forward to their show too, as we're fans, just like you. However, neither Voivod nor Roadburn can prevent cancellations, no matter how much we want to. It's an unpleasant reality we have to deal with."

"We recently realized that, much like in N America, no one cares about us in Europe, either, and based on the amount of door deals we have, we can't afford this tour."

trust me, no one gives a shit about Priestess, so don't feel bad.
