Official press release:
Arizona's Apparitions, featuring ex-members of Knights Of The Abyss and Giants Among Us, have independently released their debut EP, "The Human Collapse." The band performed at The Marquee Theater in Tempe, AZ, Dec. 9th for their CD release with support from acts such as Greeley Estates, Jamies Elsewhere, City in the Sea and Beneath The Surface. The disc was tracked by Apparitions own vocalist Griffin Kolinski and mixed and mastered by Josh Wichman of Dreadcore Productions (Within The Ruins, Knights of the Abyss, And Hell Followed With).
Griffin Kolinski had this to say about the EP:
"We are more than pleased the way this EP came out. Sonically it sounds amazing. Josh really did an awesome job with it. We are more than excited to see how kids receive the material as it is definitely a departure from what we were doing with Knights of the Abyss. This is such a fresh and new experience for me writing lyrics and singing as I used to play bass guitar in KOTA and having the chance to tackle this new endeavor with really good friends and musicians has just been an amazing experience. I look at writing lyrics as an outlet and I've always enjoyed doing it, so this was a very exciting process for me."
Guitarist Winston Weems also had this to say:
"Creating Apparitions has been an amazing experience for me as well, getting the chance to work with experienced musicians such as Griffin and Brian and the rest of the guys. I truly feel this is some of the best material I have written to date especially compared to past bands I have played with. I'm super excited to finally have this bad boy out for kids to jam. Looking forward to hitting the road and Kickin' ass"
The band's EP "The Human Collapse" is available on their online store and will also be available through iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and several other online digital distributors.
