Official press release:
After a successful 3 year run with metallic hardcore band Endwell (which included releasing an album on Mediaskare records, shooting several music videos, and touring the U.S. and Europe as support for As Blood Runs Black, Terror, Emmure, After The Burial, Deez Nuts, and The Ghost Inside to name a few) guitarist Dustin Newcombe took a leave of abscence from Endwell to regroup and reorganize his life. It wasn't long after his self-imposed time off from the touring world that he started the hardcore band Hammerhead with the singer, drummer, and bass player of NJ hardcore Legends Shattered Realm.
At the same time he was writing for Hammerhead he also started working on faster, darker, more death metal influenced material. After a few months of playing with ideas for these new songs he asked long time friend and ex-drummer of New York death metal heavyweights Impartial Dismemberment to begin playing for the project. They only formed in December of 2011 and are allready moving full speed ahead preparing for 2012. They plan on recording and releasing a 3 song EP in January and then work on taking their music to the people around the country and then the world! Songs can be found at here and anyone looking to audition for vocal, or lead guitar duties can contact us via Facebook or at cursedlivesband@gmail.com
