Ligeia cancels shows; breaks up again?

If you're reading this, you probably know that Massachusetts hardcore/metal Ligeia recently returned to action, and in fact released a new EP earlier this month. Unfortunately, it appears that whatever honeymoon a band reformation begets is now over. Frontman Keith Holuk apparently had a bit to much to drink prior to a Providence, Rhode Island show last week, and according to one fan, "was so fucked up by the time [Ligeia] went on he could barely stand up never mind sing anything remotely close to a song." Rumors suggest that the other members of the Ligeia were so frustrated that they quit the band directly after the show. Either way, the remainder of their tour was indeed cancelled, with one promoter stating, "unfortunately, Ligeia has opted to cancel the rest of their tour due to personal problems within the band." Additionally, the band's forthcoming video shoot has reportedly been put on hold as well. There has been no announcement of any kind from the band, so perhaps it's just a proverbial bump in the road and the line-up is very much intact. Regardless, they've pissed off a good number of their fans, which is never a wise thing to do when trying to orchestrate a comeback.
