The Mylene Sheath announces 2011 SXSW showcase

Official press release: Recently relocated Athens-based indie label The Mylene Sheath has just announced the lineup for their second annual SXSW Showcase, taking place March 18th at Valhalla in Austin, TX (710 Red River Street) and featuring performances by the likes of newly formed supergroup Lavinia, as well as critically praised and fan approved acts Junius, Caspian, Gifts From Enola, Eksi Ekso, and Herra Terra. Label owners Joel Proper and Lindsay Palmer share their enthusiasm over this year's event: "It's our favorite time of the year... it's so rare that we can all be in the same place with so many of our bands and best friends at the same time. Not only is it awesome to get to spend serious face time with all of them, but also to check out all of the other awesome labels and bands that are out there. But the best part is standing back and watching everyone else in the room watch and enjoy the bands' performances - folks in our position work hard all year helping them get there, so when it happens, it's the best feeling in the world! Can't wait for that moment."
