Converge news and notes

All of you desperate for new Converge material will be happy to know that the band has started working on songs for their next album. The effort has tentatively been titled "You Fail Me" and although no recording date has been schedule yet, look for the record early next year on Equal Vision Records. In other band news, Converge's remixed, remastered, and repackaged version of the out-of-print "Unloved And Weeded Out" sessions will be released this September on Deathwish Inc.. The release will include "Unloved..." sessions, "Downpour" (off their out-of-print 5"), "Flowers And Razorwire" (from two compilations), and lastly "Tremor," the long-lost song from the "Unloved..." sessions, never before released. Additionally, the much-anticipated "The Long Road Home" DVD will finally be seeing the light of date this Winter. The DVD will feature an assortment of live footage dontated by fans, and according to the band, "We have taken a huge amount of time compiling and editing so far, and are very excited about the project taking finally shape."
