A few months after switching vocalists, Hopesfall has now parted ways with longtime guitarist Ryan Parrish, for personal reasons. According to the band, "We thank him for the years he put into this band and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
Shortly after we posted this news item, Parrish emailed us his statement on the matter. Here's what he had to say:
"Hello everyone, this is Ryan Parrish (guitar/vocals) from Hopesfall. After we finished recording our new full-length CD for Trustkill a few weeks ago, I was asked (by the remaining members) to leave the band. I am heart broken in trying to write this, but I wanted to send out a personal thank you to all of our fans. when I started Hopesfall over four and a half years ago, I never dreamed that we would have gotten this far. Without you guys, we would have never achieved this level of success. I will miss playing to all of you, and more importantly i will miss hanging out with all of you. this band has been one of the best experiences of my life. Thank you to everyone that has ever supported us in any way. i will never forget your kind words of encouragement, and the good times we had rocking out together. Each one of you has changed my life forever...and I truly consider all of you my friends. please feel free to drop me an email (xspesheledx@hotmail.com), I would love to hear from some of you. by the way, I really hope all of you enjoy the new record when it comes out. I can personally say that I put my heart and lots of hard work into the album. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. all of you have blessed my life in the biggest way, and I hope that your lives continue to be blessed."
As a result of the departure, bassist Chad Waldrup will now be playing guitar, and to cover the bass slot, band friend Adam Baker has now joined the group. Look for Hopesfall on the road with Codeseven in the near future in support of their newly recorded Trustkill debut.
