The Word Alive has announced the addition of drummer Justin Salinas (ex-Scars Of Tomorrow, Inked In Blood) to their line-up. Salinas replaces Tony Aguilera, who was kicked out of the group earlier this year.
The band comments: "With the writing of a new full-length album came the decision to part ways with our former drummer Tony Aguilera, which many of you have undoubtedly heard about or noticed on The Emptiness Tour. We have began a new era with Justin Salinas as our force behind the kit. We can't wait to show you what we've been working on, don't worry it won't be much of a wait!"
The Word Alive will enter the studio next week to begin recording the new album.
