With Dead Hands Rising schedules final show

Official press release: With Dead Hands Rising is getting back together to play one final show on Nov. 21, 2009 at the Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis, MN. The event serves as the band's true send-off and will include music from 2008's Expect Hell, 2004's The Horror Grows Nears, 2003's Behind Inquisition, featuring the members who played on those recordings. The opening acts are Blue Ox (with former members of Dead to Fall, and Coma Eternal) and Hunter (with former members of Nehemiah, and Death Sentence). The show is $8 in advance and $10 at the door, and begins at 5PM. To buy tickets or for more information see www.triplerocksocialclub.com or the band's Myspace page. Here is a statement from the band: "We have all been planning on doing this show for a long time and it has finally come together. We wanted to send the band off right, and that took a while. The show should be a great time for everyone that comes out. Almost everyone from the history of the band is involved, even some of us who haven't been on stage for years. You can trust that we are all really excited to do some more hammer-ons and hairwhips. Colin Strandberg, our original singer and now graphic designer for companies as diverse as Rockett and Nike, is creating a custom-designed, limited edition shirt available only at this show, which will be printed by our own former bass player, Matt Peterson. We look forward to reliving the great memories we had playing for so many years, and hope everyone comes out to have a good time so we can make one final great memory together."
