Good Life Recordings has signed Belgium metalcore band, ILL Balance. The five-piece will be entering the studio in early March to begin recording their debut full-length, which will be entitled "Translating The Pain." The band has a female vocalist, so of course comparisons have been made to the now defunct Walls Of Jericho. Here's what ILL Balance vocalist Adina says about the comparisons: "...It's only because we are both girls and because I am American also. I have nothing against WOJ, but I would like for the band to be compared for the music and not what sex the members are. I don't think we sound anything like WOJ, sure we both play hardcore, but I think we are on a totally different tip, very dark with lots of 80's metal influences in our music. So I don't want people to get the wrong idea or expect something else, I just hope people check us out because we're a new band, not for reasons that have nothing to do with the music." In related news, Good Life Recordings also recently inked Connecticut's Hamartia, Belgium's Negate, and Belgium's Death Before Disco.
